All treating physiotherapists at Ace Physio Sports are registered with the Allied Health Professions Council of Singapore (AHPC).

Use of Our Website

Permitted use: You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not use it in any way that breaches applicable Singapore law, is fraudulent, or causes harm to any person.

Accuracy of information: We make every reasonable effort to ensure the information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant that content is always current, complete, or error-free.

Appointments and Bookings

Booking confirmation: An appointment is confirmed only when you receive written or verbal confirmation from Ace Physio Sports. Submitting an online booking request alone does not constitute a confirmed appointment.

First appointment: Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete intake paperwork. Bring any relevant medical imaging (MRI, X-ray, CT scan), referral letters, and your insurance card if applicable.

What to wear: Please wear or bring comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows access to the area being treated. For lower limb conditions, shorts are recommended. For upper body conditions, a vest top or loose shirt.

Late arrivals: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten or reschedule your session to avoid impacting other patients. The full session fee may still apply.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Notice required: We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Late cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the session fee.

No-shows: Failure to attend a confirmed appointment without any notice will incur the full session fee.

How to cancel: Please notify us by phone at +65 81535374, by WhatsApp, or by email at admin@acephysiosports.com. Cancellations made outside business hours will be recorded as received at the start of the next business day.

Repeated cancellations: Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in prepayment being required to secure future bookings.

Clinic-initiated cancellations: In the unlikely event we need to cancel your appointment, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer an alternative time at no additional cost.

Fees and Payment

Payment: Payment is due at the time of each appointment unless a direct billing arrangement is in place with your insurer. We accept cash, NETS, PayNow, and major credit and debit cards.

Direct insurance billing: We provide direct billing for CIGNA, Allianz, and Doctor Anywhere. You must present a valid membership card and any required letter of guarantee at the time of your appointment. It is your responsibility to ensure your policy covers physiotherapy. Any amounts not covered by your insurer remain your personal responsibility.

Receipts and invoices: A receipt or itemised invoice will be provided on request for all sessions for use with insurance reimbursement or tax purposes.

Prepaid packages: Where prepaid session packages are purchased, they are non-refundable once treatment has commenced. Unused sessions may be transferred to a family member with prior written agreement from Ace Physio Sports.

Clinical Treatment Terms

Consent to treatment: By attending a physiotherapy session at Ace Physio Sports, you confirm that you consent to the assessment and treatment proposed by your physiotherapist. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Patient responsibilities: You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your medical history, current symptoms, medications, and any other relevant factors. Withholding relevant medical information may affect the safety and effectiveness of your treatment.

Home exercise programme: Where your physiotherapist prescribes a home exercise programme, you agree to follow the instructions provided. Ace Physio Sports is not responsible for injury or delayed recovery resulting from exercises performed incorrectly or outside the scope of instructions given.

Treatment outcomes: While we are committed to delivering the highest standard of care, we cannot guarantee specific treatment outcomes. Individual recovery depends on many factors including the nature of your condition, your overall health, adherence to your treatment plan, and factors outside our control.

Scope of practice: Our physiotherapists practise within their AHPC-registered professional scope. If your condition requires care beyond physiotherapy — such as a surgical consultation, specialist imaging, or GP assessment — we will advise and refer you appropriately.

Tele-Consultation Services

Eligibility: Tele-consultation is available for conditions suitable for remote assessment. Not all conditions can be adequately assessed or treated via video. Your physiotherapist will advise if an in-person visit is required.

Technical requirements: You are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and a compatible device. We use Google Meet for video consultations. Ace Physio Sports is not responsible for technical issues on your end.

Jurisdiction: Tele-consultation services are offered primarily to patients based in Singapore. If you are accessing from outside Singapore, you are responsible for ensuring that receiving remote healthcare advice is permitted in your jurisdiction.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law:

Ace Physio Sports is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from your use of our website or services.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid by you for the specific session or sessions to which the claim relates.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 business days and aim to resolve it within 21 days. If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may refer it to the Allied Health Professions Council of Singapore at https://www.ahpc.gov.sg

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The Last updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
